Rolex Submariner Date 41mm — Reference 126610LV

The green-bezel Submariner, known among collectors as the “Starbucks,” in unworn condition and complete as a full collector's set.

This is the current-generation 41mm case: broader across the dial than the 116610LV it replaced, but with slimmer, re-proportioned lugs that pull it tighter to the wrist. It reads larger and wears smaller. The bezel is the reason people chase this reference — a unidirectional Cerachrom insert in a deep, saturated green, with the graduations moulded into the ceramic and filled with platinum by PVD. Ceramic is the point: it will not fade toward brown or plum the way aluminium inserts do, so the colour you see here is the colour it keeps.

Against that green, the black lacquer dial is deliberately plain — Chromalight hour markers, the Mercedes handset, and a Cyclops date at three. Everything about the layout is legibility. The case is Oystersteel with brushed flanks and a mirror-polished bevel running the length of the lugs, a Triplock crown, and 300 metres of water resistance.

Inside is the calibre 3235, Rolex's current-generation automatic: a Chronergy escapement, Parachrom hairspring, roughly 70 hours of reserve, and Superlative Chronometer certification at −2/+2 seconds per day. The Oyster bracelet closes on an Oysterlock clasp with the Glidelock extension, which lets you adjust the fit by about 20mm without tools.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

This one is complete — the full collector's set. Outer card sleeve and inner green Rolex box, the original Rolex guarantee card, the Submariner booklet and Rolex worldwide service booklet, the green leather card wallet, the outer carrier bag, and both factory hang tags still attached to the watch.

CONDITION

Unworn. No handling marks on the case, bracelet, or clasp; the bezel and crystal are clean under magnification. The tags are still on the bracelet as pictured.
